Saturday, October 29 was the date.  7:00 PM was the time.  On an otherwise quiet Saturday evening it happened.  First the unknown Mexican showed up with his harlet woman wreaking of wine and cheap perfume.  Next came the sinister tweety bird followed closely by Sylvester the cat, with a hungry look in her eye.  But before we could get the door closed we heard the creaking walker of Grandma Tourville and her personal physician, Dr. T. "Jekyll" Tourville (first cousin to Groucho Jekyll-Tourville).  They were late because I think they had already been playing "doctor".  Elvira and I were the only normal ones in the crowd.

It all started innocently enough.  Deb and Martha spent most of the day cooking and baking.

There were sausage balls, home made chicken salad finger rolls, hot wings, spinach dip, home made pimento cheese dip, cheese ball, pumpkin bread, pecan tarts, cup cakes and assorted candies.

"BOO" greeted the guests as they arrived.

This fellow just showed up.  We still aren't sure who he is.

Dr. T. "Jekyll" Tourville, Elvira and the Harlet.  We had to keep an eye on the Doctor!
