’69 Convertible, 350, 5 speed.  Car was originally out of Indiana.  I bought it in 2000 from a guy in New Bern, NC.  At that time it had a new paint job, but the interior and engine compartment both needed a lot of work.  I cleaned it up a little bit and drove it for several years.  Then we found some rust in the frame, so some of the club members helped me take the body off the frame.  Sam Hollis repaired the frame damage.  We also rebuilt the engine, installed a 5 speed transmission, and rebuilt the suspension while it was apart.  Since that time I have driven it every chance I get.  It’s been on several trips to the coast, and many mountain runs too.  I really enjoy getting it out, especially in warm weather with the top down!
